Fixed Caliper Piston Return Device
The ATE piston return device (CALTOOL02) returns the pistons
in fixed brake calipers. It avoids damage to the pistons and brake discs.
Benefits:
Parallel running ensures that the piston movement cannot cause damage and cannot jam.
Notes:
Do not use tyre levers or large screwdrivers as this can cause damage to the pistons, caliper or rubber components.
21pc Handbrake Caliper Piston Return Device
The 21pc Handbrake Caliper Piston Return Device (CALTOOL01)
returns the pistons in mechanical hydraulic handbrake calipers.
Benefits:
- It makes changing of handbrake pads quick and effortless by applying pressure to the piston to engage the internal clutch during operation.
- The 21 piece set includes left and right hand thread options and fittings to suit most modern handbrake calipers.
- It works on most vehicle makes and models.
Notes:
The device can be used on standard calipers too.

8pc Brake Shoe Spring and Adjuster Tool
The 8pc Brake Shoe Spring and Adjuster Tool (BSSTOOL01)
has the pliers and tools needed for easily removing, replacing and adjusting brake shoes.
Benefits:
- It makes changing of brake shoes quick and effortless.
- The 8 piece set includes: 3 retainer spring removers, 3 adjuster levers, 1 special adjuster and brake shoe spring pliers.
- It works on most vehicle makes and models.
Notes:
The tool set can be used on most standard brake shoe assemblies.
Do not use side cutters or large screwdrivers as this can cause damage to the brake shoe springs and assembly.
Brake Fluid Tester
The Brake Fluid Tester (BFTTOOL01)
quickly and easily determines the moisture content of brake fluid.
Benefits:
- Brake fluid can be tested to ensure that the brake fluid is still in working order.
- Results can be shown to the customer.
- It tests DOT3 and DOT4 brake fluids.
Notes:
Most vehicle manufacturers recommend brake fluid replacement on annual services.
Contaminated brake fluid can affect the functioning of ABS and EBD systems as well as compromise the brake balance.
Brake Fluid Bleeder Bottle
The Brake Fluid Bleeder Bottle (BBBTOOL01)
makes bleeding and replacing of brake fluid an easy task.
Benefits:
- Brake fluid can be tested to ensure that the brake fluid is still in working order.
- Results can be shown to the customer.
- It tests DOT3 and DOT4 brake fluids.

ATE Plastilube 75ml
ATE Plastilube lubricates and provides protection against corrosion for the
guide surfaces of brake calipers and brake pads.
To prevent squealing, ATE Plastilube is applied to the backing plates of the brake pads.
Benefits:
- Free from metal soaps and fatty acids, so it is not corrosive,
- Long-lasting, hence reduced maintenance frequency,
- Insoluble in water and outstanding resistance to leaching,
- Versatile, as it is compatible with all metals and most O-ring materials.
Notes:
Caution: Do not apply on brake pad friction surfaces!
